Deer Trail Cabin

Located in the quiet woods of Peru, Maine, this three-bedroom, two-bath cabin is a true blend of new construction, modern comfort and timeless rustic charm. It was completed in late 2025, and we stepped into the project just as the finishing touches were going in and the winter air was settling in. From the moment we walked through the door, the warm glow of the natural wood and the handcrafted woodland-scene railing in the open loft set the tone for everything that followed.

The décor draws directly from the forest: towering pines, soft forest light, and the quiet stillness of Maine's backcountry. Every room was designed to feel connected to nature, with earthy textures, deep greens, warm plaids and subtle wildlife motifs that echo the forest beyond the windows. The metal railing panels featuring deer and evergreens became the heart of the design, inspiring a theme that's both cozy and elevated.

Throughout the cabin are thoughtful touches that make the space feel welcoming and lived-in: soft lighting that warms the wood, natural materials that age beautifully, and décor that nods to Maine's heritage of craftsmanship and outdoor adventure. The result feels both fresh and familiar, a modern cabin with a soul, ready to wrap guests in comfort the moment they arrive.

Once we knew the cabin sat right on the ATV and snowmobile trails, we designed around the people who'd come for them. When the owner walked through the finished cabin for the first time, he told us he was almost in tears. He hasn't had to lift a finger since: we run it all.
