Interior design

Just because you have a house doesn't mean it's ready to be somebody's getaway. Your guests are spending their hard-earned money on a vacation. A view, a lake or a great location will get them looking; it's how the place feels that brings them back.

Often it's the small things. A lamp beside the sofa, so someone can read after everyone else has gone to bed, instead of a room lit only from the ceiling. Blackout curtains in the kids' room, so a toddler naps and the whole family has a better week, for about twenty dollars a window. Mattress pads, pillow protectors and linens that stand up to a hotel's, because a guest paying hotel prices will compare.

And it should feel like somewhere else. Nobody books a vacation to sit in the same recliner they have at home. We design homes that feel warm, inviting and a little special, with your own style at the heart of them.

Full decorating: we come up with a concept that suits the house and its setting, and decorate the whole thing. We do the shopping and invoice you for what we buy, and design time is billed by the hour.

Design consultation: we walk the house with you and build the plan together, from where the beds should go to what each room needs, down to a room-by-room proposal if you'd like one. Then you carry it out yourself, at your own pace. Either way, we take on any size of project, from one room to a whole new build.
